As the Royal Rumble nears, WWE stars are announcing their intent to compete for the chance to get a championship match at WrestleMania.

WWE might be gearing up for the upcoming January 25 edition of "Saturday Night's Main Event," but the Royal Rumble, set to take place just a week after, is quickly approaching. Several stars have declared themselves for the titular Royal Rumble matches — all eager to outlast 29 other competitors to secure their title match at the grandest stage of them all.

DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) will defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) at WWE Royal Rumble. The bout will be a two-out-of-three falls match. The title tilt was made official on the January 24th episode of WWE SmackDown.

WWE Royal Rumble Local Organizing Committee officials said they plan to roll out the red carpet next week for the global entertainment brand. Expect a citywide transformation similar to what we saw for Taylor Swift and the NBA All-Star Weekend,

Multiple superstars, including Bianca Belair, declared for the Royal Rumble match on WWE SmackDown. On the January 24th episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton came to the ring and said that whoever won the Royal Rumble would be on Tiffy Time.
