Forza Horizon 5, one of the most critically-acclaimed Xbox exclusive games of this console generation is coming to PlayStation 5 in Spring 2025.

In a news release, Microsoft pegged Forza Horizon 5 for release on PS5 "this spring" but didn't nail down a specific release date. The racing game will arrive on PS5 with all of the same content and DLC as the Xbox and PC version, and cross-play has been confirmed.

The game currently features 900 cars, two expansions, 40 thematic game updates, and even more content. The studio also stated that previously released car packs, as well as the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions, will be available for purchase by PlayStation 5 players.

The game is also getting a new content update on all platforms.

After porting a few of its first-party titles to PlayStation and Switch last year, the first multiplatform move for Xbox in 2025 has been revealed. Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios have announced that Forza Horizon 5 will be racing to PlayStation this spring.

Forza Horizon 5 is coming to PlayStation 5, over three years after developer Playground Games launched it on Xbox Series X|S. The studio, which is working with Panic Button and Turn 10 Studios on the PS5 port, made the announcement in a blog post on Thursday, but stopped short of giving a specific release date beyond "spring 2025."
