WASHINGTON (7News) — President-Elect Donald Trump and Vice President-Elect JD Vance will start their day at St. John’s Church, Lafayette Square on Monday. This is a tradition many presidents have taken part in including former President Barack Obama and President George W. Bush.

In keeping with tradition, Donald Trump is attending the St John’s Episcopal Church this morning in Washington’s Lafayette Square before being sworn in as the President of the United States. But what do we know about the ‘Church of the Presidents?

The Trumps started the day by attending a service at St. John’s Episcopal Church, located across Lafayette Park from the White House, a tradition for presidents-elect.
