Forward progress of the Sepulveda Fire that erupted quickly overnight off the 405 freeway near Getty Center in Los Angeles was contained at 45 acres early Thursday morning. Evacuation orders for that one were lifted.

Initial location: Near 405 Freeway in the area of North Sepulveda Boulevard and Getty Center Drive, Los Angeles County, Calif. Sepulveda Fire initially started today at 12:36 a.m. in Los Angeles County. At this time, there are no details on the containment of the fire. Evacuations have been lifted.

Watch Duty, a nonprofit that tracks wildfires, said that as of 11:26 p.m. the fire was estimated to be 10 acres, burning in heavy brush east of the freeway in the Sepulveda Pass. By about 12:23 it had grown to 20 acres, though fire crews were making good progress on the blaze, Watch Duty reported.

LOS ANGELES - A fire broke out along the 405 Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass near Sherman Oaks. The "Sepulveda Fire" was reported around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22 in the northbound lanes of the 405 Freeway. The fire was initially reported at one acre by the Los Angeles Fire Department, but no new information have been provided after 11 p.m.
