India's foreign exchange reserves fell for the fourth consecutive week and stood at an eight-month low of $640.28 billion, as of Dec. 27, data from the Reserve Bank of India showed on Friday.

India's foreign exchange reserves decreased to $634.59 billion as of the week ending January 3, 2025. The main reason for this drop was a decrease in Foreign Currency Assets by $6.4 billion to $545.47 billion.
