Originally released on home video, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: A Historical Perspective follows a more traditional approach to documentary filmmaking. Narrated by The Transformers voice actor Arthur Burghardt, we see some never-before-scene footage of Dr. King and elements of his life that weren’t covered in the previous documentaries.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day events include story times, speakers and fundraising events in Milwaukee and its suburbs.

The 2025 Keepers of the Dream community celebration will honor the women of the civil rights movement, particularly in the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The show will feature performances, visual art, music, and even a performance from River City Drum Corp.
