LOS ANGELES (AP) — Cooper Kupp was a driving force when the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl to cap the 2021 season, culminating with his winning touchdown catch.

For Los Angeles, the decision to move on from Kupp would be entirely financial. He carries a $29.78 million cap hit in 2025 and playing in 33 combined games over the last three seasons doesn’t merit the salary.

Cooper Kupp is certain that he’s going to play football next season. He isn’t so sure if it’ll be for the Los Angeles Rams.
