At least one other Celtic will join Jayson Tatum at NBA All-Star weekend in San Francisco. Third-year guard JD Davison was one of seven G League players selected to compete in the 2025 Castrol Rising Stars game on Feb. 14.

The Celtics have not looked like contenders for the majority of the past month but that changed on Monday against the Warriors. Jayson Tatum led a balanced scoring effort from the defending champions as the visitors crushed Golden State 125-85 in their biggest road victory of the year.

Jayson Tatum has been named as an Eastern Conference All-Star starter for the 2025 All-Star game. The Boston Celtics star will be making his fifth consecutive All-Star appearance and his sixth overall.

The Celtics will have multiple players at the 2025 NBA All-Star Game after Jaylen Brown was selected as a reserve. He joins Jayson Tatum.

During an appearance on the Tuesday, Jan. 21 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Boston Celtics player, 26, recalled an embarrassing moment he experienced while meeting Jordan, 61, in 2019 when he signed with the Jordan brand. Tatum was in Los Angeles this week as the Celtics play the Clippers on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Brown and company will be joined by the East starters in Celtics teammate Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks, Donovan Mitchell of the Cavs, Karl-Anthony Towns of the New York Knicks, and Knicks teammate Jalen Brunson.

The reigning Eastern Conference and NBA Finals MVP will join his teammate, Jayson Tatum, who was named a starter last week. It’s the fourth time in the last five years that Tatum and Brown have represented the Celtics together at All-Star Weekend.

Joining Wembanyama as a West reserve are Jaren Jackson Jr., Jalen Williams, Anthony Edwards, Anthony Davis, James Harden and Alperen Şengün. The seven reserves from the East are Jaylen Brown, Pascal Siakam, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, Cade Cunningham, Damian Lillard and Tyler Herro, as selected by the conference’s coaches.

Named a Western Conference reserve, Victor Wembanyama is the San Antonio Spurs' first All-Star representative since 2022.
