What we know: The region most likely to see this potential snowfall is the Suwannee River Valley and areas of North Florida along the Interstate 10 corridor. If things align, we could see a light dusting of snow on Monday night, with amounts ranging from a light coating to as much as an inch in some areas.

The second winter storm of the year brought 1-2 inches of snow to Gainesville, but not the Gainesville Floridians may be thinking of.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day isn’t until next Monday, but there will be a celebration all throughout this week in Gainesville. There will be tributes on Tuesday and Wednesday at Dayspring Baptist Church, followed by a jazz concert at Bo Diddley on Friday. The concert is at 7 and the tributes are at 6:30 p.m. All those events are free.
