Quarterback Jalen Hurts is poised to return to the Philadelphia Eagles’ lineup when they open the playoffs Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Hurts was cleared under the return-to-play provisions of the NFL concussion protocol, Eagles Coach Nick Sirianni said Friday.

After a 13-yard run, Hurts was sent off the field. Checked in the sideline medical tent, Hurts came out and put his helmet on, standing ready to go back into the game until the Eagles’ medical staff took him to the locker room. He hasn’t played since.

On Friday, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said that Hurts has cleared the concussion protocol and had a good week of practice. Hurts has missed the Eagles' last two games with a concussion that he suffered in the first quarter of the Eagles' Week 16 loss to the Washington Commanders.
