MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo will be out indefinitely with a toe injury, the team announced Monday. DiVincenzo, 27, suffered a Grade 3 left great toe sprain in Wednesday's loss to the Golden State Warriors.

DiVincenzo had replaced Mike Conley in the starting lineup just six games ago and was stellar during that stretch, averaging 17.5 points on 42.1% shooting from three, along with 5.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.

DiVincenzo started slowly, but in his last five games has averaged 18 points a game while shooting 42.9% on 3-pointers.
