The Winter Storm Warning is in effect now across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. It started at midnight Friday and will last until 6 a.m. Saturday for Lincoln, Moore and Franklin Counties. The rest of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky are under the warning that started at 3 a.
THP, TDOT warns of possibility of treacherous conditions after winter storm hits East Tennessee
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - After a winter storm moved through and dumped several inches of snow across East Tennessee, state agencies are now warning about the possibility of roadways becoming dangerous. Mark Nagi with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said crews will add to the mixture used on roads to help lower the freezing point.
