Israel was expected to withdraw all of its forces from southern Lebanon as part of the deal but the Israeli government said some its forces would remain in southern Lebanon,

Israel said its forces will remain in southern Lebanon past the 60-day withdrawal deadline set by a ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah.

Hamas said that it intends to release Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy and Liri Albag on Saturday. All four of the women were serving as Israel Defense Forces soldiers at the time of their kidnapping.

Liri Albag, Karina Ariev, Danielle Gilboa and Naama Levy are back in Israel after being released by Hamas in return for Palestinian prisoners.
