A magnitude 3.7 earthquake was recorded in the Bay Area on Friday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.

A 3.7-magnitude earthquake shook the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The about 5-mile deep quake hit about three miles northwest from the San Francisco Zoo, at 7:02 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, according to the USGS.
