In a meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan, President Donald Trump spoke about his plan to redevelop Gaza — which could only happen if other countries, like Jordan, take in more refugees, according to The Associated Press.

Like most of President Donald Trump’s meetings these days, Tuesday’s talks with Jordan’s King Abdullah II will revolve around making a deal — at least in the president’s mind.

President Donald Trump once again insisted the US will take control of the Gaza Strip, as he met Jordan's King Abdullah at the White House on Tuesday. It was their first meeting since Trump announced his plan to take over the enclave and move its population of two million Palestinians to other countries in the region, including Jordan.
