Anti-ICE protesters continued on demonstrations in downtown Los Angeles for a second straight day in opposition of President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown.

Since his inauguration on Jan. 20, Trump has followed through on his campaign promise to dramatically boost deportation of illegal immigrants, with ICE carrying out raids in major cities including Los Angeles and San Diego.

Draped in Mexican and Salvadoran flags, roughly 1,000 demonstrators gathered near City Hall shortly before noon, blocking traffic at Spring and Temple streets.
