The Sacramento Kings are entering a new era after trading away franchise point guard De'Aaron Fox on Sunday to the San Antonio Spurs. Fox was in Sacramento since they drafted him fifth overall in 2017, quickly becoming a cornerstone for the struggling team.

The Sacramento Kings are hoping that Zach LaVine will be able to make his debut with the team on Wednesday night.

All the rumors turned out to be true as the San Antonio Spurs have acquired star guard De'Aaron Fox from the Sacramento Kings. Fox had been pushing for a deal to get himself to San Antonio and the sides have now agreed to a deal. The Chicago Bulls are also in the deal, having sent two-time All-Star shooting guard Zach LaVine to the Kings.
