Komatsu and Asunaro Aoki Construction have joined forces to develop electric underwater robots capable of operating at depths of up to 160 feet.
Right now, the amphibious bulldozer can dive only to a depth of seven meters (about 23 feet) because of GPS limitations. However, Komatsu plans to increase its operational depth to 50 m (164 ft).
