French auto giant Renault Group has reported a 1.3% increase in global sales volume for 2024, selling a total of 2.26 million vehicles. Renault brand sales increased by 1.8%, reaching 1,577,351 vehicles globally, up from 1,548,748 in 2023.

French automaker Renault said on Thursday that sales grew by 1.3% in 2024, with a strong fourth quarter driven by new launches helping to offset weak demand earlier in the year.

The group, which is sheltered from the market challenges in China, plans to launch seven new models this year after global sales increased 1.3% in 2024.

A number of new model launches, including hybrid and all-electric vehicles, helped Renault Group deliver a rise in sales in Europe last year. View on euronews
