A fast-moving wildfire exploded to roughly 10,200 acres near the Los Angeles County community of Castaic Wednesday morning, prompting mandatory evacuation orders and road closures, authorities said.

The latest wildfire in Los Angeles County, dubbed the Hughes Fire, has already burned over 5,000 acres in about two hours near the suburb town of Castaic. According to CNN, residents were ordered to evacuate shortly after the fire broke out on Wednesday in Castaic,
