German Chancellor Olaf Scholz sent a warning to President-elect Trump over border rules as the incoming president continues his threat of taking over Greenland. Scholz said Wednesday that he spoke with several European leaders and the president of the European Council.

In recent weeks, Trump has ramped up his attacks on allies. He’s threatened to impose tariffs on Canada, Mexico and the European Union. He’s mocked Canada as the “51st state” and blamed Mexico for fentanyl overdoses in the U.S.
