A federal agent has filed a complaint against a Metairie man accused of possessing child sex abuse material on his personal laptop, court records show.

The accusations were made in a lawsuit filed by a “Jane Doe,” who claims she was abused by an older girl, identified as “MG,” during a summer internship in 2018 at the Ignite Life Center in Gainesville, Florida. FOX reported that Ignite Life is “affiliated with Rivera’s church.”

The Yankees pitcher and his wife were named in a suit that says a young girl was assaulted at their home and at properties connected to a church they helped found. The couple’s lawyer called the allegations “false.
