Ames shooting victim shows up at Des Moines hospital, investigation underway
An investigation is underway after an individual who was shot in Ames showed up at a Des Moines hospital overnight. According to the Ames Police Department, at around 11:13 p.m. Thursday officers responded to a report of gunshots in the area of the 4600 block of Mortensen Road.
