We’d been looking forward to this museum and were enchanted from the start with the 14 minutes intro film. Then a short history of the blues before BB came on the scene, which we thought was modest … Full review by Foodange

HI MO, I would like to know if you hired a car to go to the museum please, as myself and my two sons over 21 intend to visit on route from Memphis, where we visited last September. I am in a dilemma as to whether to hire a car from Memphis or do you know of any public transport. Julie from the Uk.

Julie, I agree with Greg. The best would be to rent a car. Advise: leave early in the morning and do your sightseeing early . Start back to Memphis around 4 or 5 PM. You will be travelling on rural 2 lane roads and the roads are not well lit in the evenings. Best to take Hwy 55 down to Greenwood then go to BB's Museum in Indianola and then drive over to Clarksdale to the Delta Blues Museum and Ground Zero. Diagonally across of BB King's Museum is the Blue Biscuit Restaurant which has good southern food and a very friendly staff. There are tours from Memphis, but I believe they are too steep: Google: Delta Blues Tours.... Also, you may want to take the City of New Orleans train from Memphis to New Orleans!
